You cannot go to Florida without going to the parks, there are 4 Disney Parks, plus 2 Disney Water Parks, 2 Universal Parks, Seaworld and Busch Gardens.
Buying tickets for these can be very exspensive so the best way to get tickets is to buy them from an offical ticket outlet rather than at the gate.
For the Disney parks there are a vast aray of tickets and options:
* tickets that expire after 14 days - tickets with days that never expire
* tickets that allow you to visit more than one Disney Park on the same day (known as hopping) - tickets that dont allow this
* tickets that allow you a number of extra visits to water parks (known as plus option)- tickets that dont
tickets that allow hopping and include the plus (known as premium)but with days that expire and the same tickets with days that dont expire.
It can be mind boggling. The most popular tickets are 5 and 7 day premium tickets, and if you will use all the days whilst on holiday get the expiring ticket, if you will not use all the days get the never expire ticket(unused days last for years)
For UK residents there is a better value ticket still a 14 day or 21 day ultimate ticket this allows you to plus and hop for as many times as you like for the period of the ticket. It expires after 14 days or 21 days after first use. You must buy this ticket in the UK you cannot get it in Florida.
Other Theme Parks
You can buy individual tickets for the other parks for single days, the best way though if you are doing more than just one other park is the Orlando Flexi Ticket. This ticket comes as either a 4 park or 5 park :
4 park : Universal Studios, Universal Islands of Adventure, Seaworld, Wet 'n' Wild
5 park : Universal Studios, Universal Islands of Adventure, Seaworld, Wet 'n' Wild, Busch Gardens
These tickets expire 14 days after first day of use. |
